Hi Friends,

School is back in session and my son just started 7th grade!  My poor guy broke his ankle playing football a few weeks ago but will be back up to speed soon after getting his cast off this week.  I’m taking some lessons from his resilient spirit as we head into the busy fall season.

Network Negotiations

▪  Aetna and Providence St. Joseph have reached a multi-year agreement

▪  Cigna and MemorialCare extended their contract until October 21st while they finalize paperwork of their agreement

▪  Stanford Health Care hospitals, facilities, and professional providers will no longer be participants in the Blue Shield of California (Blue Shield) Commercial Network.  They continue to work on an agreement.

▪  Cal Dental Network (CDN) has notified clients and carriers that they are discontinuing their DHMO policies as of 10/1/2024
