Summer is in full swing and the Olympics have been exciting to watch this year.  Simone leads the women’s gymnastics team to bring back the gold and hoping the men’s and women’s basketball teams can do the same this weekend!

Network Negotiations

▪  Aetna and Providence St. Joseph are actively engaged in good faith contract discussions.  The two regions and expiration dates are:

- Northern California, San Bernardino County and Orange County: 09/01/2024

- Los Angeles County: 11/01/2024

▪  Cigna and MemorialCare are working hard to renew their contract.  If an agreement is not reached certain doctors will be out of network starting September 1, 2024. 

▪  Stanford Health Care hospitals, facilities, and professional providers will no longer be participants in the Blue Shield of California (Blue Shield) Commercial Network.  They continue to work on an agreement.
